How is Argonide's NanoCeram PAC filter different? And, how does it solve the common problem found in Point of Use Filtration?
Standard activated carbon filters are often misapplied and unintentionally remove all oxidizing disinfectants-- including chlorine and chloramine. Without these disinfectant residuals, plumbing systems become more susceptible to microbial growth and biofilm formation, increasing the risk of colonization by opportunistic pathogens such as Legionella pneumophila.
Argonide's NanoCeram and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) Series Pleated Filter Cartridges are engineered to eliminate these challenges. Originally developed from NASA technology, the advanced filter media combines micro glass fibers, cellulose, nano alumina fibers, powdered activated carbon, and an antimicrobial agion in a thermally bonded, non-woven matrix. Elite Technologies Group warrants that its filtration products are free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 18 months from date of shipment or 12 months from installation whichever occurs first.
ETG'S liability under this warranty shall be discharged solely by replacement or repair of defective product, provided ETG is notified in writing within one year from date of shipment, F.O.B. distribution center.
